Liposuction of the neck is for patients with excess fat under
the chin to produce a more sculpted, angular and youthful neck
and jaw line. The best patients for this procedure have good
skin tone. Neck liposuction does not tighten the skin, however
in some patients, there may be some adhesion between the skin
and underlying neck following the procedure, which can improve
loose skin.
In most patients over 50 with loose skin - a
facelift to tighten skin and underlying muscle may be a more
appropriate procedure. Other procedures to enhance neck
liposuction may include sub-mentoplasty tightening of the muscle
and chin augmentation to improve the profile.
Liposuction is performed under local tumescent anesthesia with
deep sedation. One tiny incision is made under the chin and
behind each earlobe. Fat is removed with small suction cannulas.
A soft chin supporting garment is worn for 5 days following the
procedure. Liposuction is a common, and most popular
procedure that allows the plastic surgeon to remove undesirable,
subcutaneous fat through a small cannula as a result you will
have a smoother and slimmer body contour. Since its
introduction in France in the early 1980's, there have been many
refinements to the technique, including the use of thin cannulas
with low pressure vacuum, tumescent fluid, and the thinner,
lighter post-operative garments. These modifications have
made the procedure safe, reliable and comfortable For the
best results, you should be of relatively normal weight with
extra fat localized in specific areas such as hips, buttocks and
abdomen. Lipoplasty is also effective in removing fat deposits
from the back, legs, arms, face and neck.

Lipoplasty helps to eliminate unsightly bulges by removing
localized fat deposits. |
Lipoplasty is neither a substitute for proper diet and exercise
nor a method of overall weight loss. It cannot eliminate
cellulite or correct loose, hanging skin. In fact, the best
results from lipoplasty are achieved when you are healthy,
elastic skin with the capacity to shrink evenly after surgery.
If your skin has lost much of its elasticity, you may need a
skin tightening procedure such as a tummy tuck, thigh lift,
buttock lift or arm lift.

Collections of fatty tissue in the shaded areas are removed
through short incisions that are discreetly placed. |

Technique: We use local anesthesia (usually with sedation)
combined with the technique of anesthesia acupuncture to cause a
safe and comfortable liposuction. You can walk right after the
liposuction and go back home after one hour of relaxation.
Thanks to this technique, We have performed hundreds of cases of
liposuction every months with with a very successful and very
safe result. We use Ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty, energy
from sound waves to liquefy the fat before it is removed.
·
Only tiny incision not more than 0.5 cm is needed to reach all
the areas to be treated. This incision is selected carefully to
hide invisibly in the lowest site of your lower abdomen.
·
The tumescent technique is used to expand the fat tissues with
fluid designed to reduce blood loss and increase body-contouring
precision.
·
The fat tissues are removed by using the small canulas,
attaching to low vacuum and passing into the fatty areas through
a tiny incision. This technique reduces the risk of rippling and
dimpling. It also results in less post-operative swelling and
discomfort.
·
The procedure may take an hour or more depending upon the extent
of the area being treated.
Ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty, for example, uses energy from
sound waves to liquefy the fat before it is removed.

A long, hollow tube, called a cannula, with an opening at
one end is inserted through a small incision. At the tube's
opposite end, a vacuum pressure unit suctions away the fat.
Ultrasonic energy sometimes may be used to liquefy the fat
before it is removed. |
Following surgery, you may wear snug dressing or garment,
perhaps for several weeks, to promote skin shrinkage and to
minimize swelling and bruising as you gradually resume normal
activities. Recovery after liposuction • The day after
surgery you should be up and walking around. Increase your
activities daily . • The first week you will experience some
swelling, special garments will be provided to apply pressure
following surgery. This minimizes swelling and provides support
while healing. • You may experience bruising, numbness or
burning sensation in the treated area. These symptoms are almost
always temporary. Abdominoplasty Commonly known as a
“tummy tuck”, the abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure
intended to remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower
abdomen. It also tightens the abdominal muscles. The procedure
can dramatically reduce the appearance of a protruding abdomen
and but does produce a permanent scar, which, depending on the
extent of the original problem, can be from hip to hip.
